Harlan Roger Holcomb

Harlan Roger Holcomb, 78, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2023. Born in Webster County, West Virginia to Alec and Ruby (Hamrick) Holcomb, he resided in the Cuyahoga Falls area all of his adult life. Roger enjoyed watching westerns, vintage cars, traveling, animal watching from the front porch and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tommy; brothers, Melvin, Tommy, David. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 52 years, Frances; sons, Bill (Kim), Chuck; grandchildren, Ashley (Ben), Taylor (Easton), Elizabeth, Mackenzie; brothers, Tim (Kim), Jesse; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Roger's name to the charity of their choice.
