Harold D. Wolcott "Butch"
Harold D. Wolcott "Butch", 68, of Tallmadge, passed away November 9, 2010. He was born November 2, 1942 in Akron to the late Paul N. Meyer & Corinne Wolcott. Harold served in the U. S. Coast Guard and later worked as a diesel mechanic for Massey Ferguson. He was a great advisor, listener and confidant. Harold was a lifetime member of Akron Arid Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Terry Grant, Jr.; and friend, Karen Jones. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Wolcott Kenney and Corrine Wolcott; sons, Dale Lee Wolcott (Brandy), Butch Wolcott (Cathy) and David Wiley; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Paula Rey (Robert); and long-time companion and friend, Trudy Watson. A memorial service will be conducted at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Sunday beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
