Harold H. Harris

It is with great sadness that the family of Harold H. Harris Jr., 63, of Florence, Kentucky announce his passing on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Harold was born on October 19, 1954, in Akron, Ohio to the late Harold H. and Eleanor Harris.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Karen Harris. Children; Lisa Ellis, Harold H. Harris III, David Harris, and Richard (Becky) Harris. Siblings; Ann Stockall, Brenda (John) Lewis, Peggy (Ron) Sloan, Gilbert (Bonnie) Harris, Patricia Latman, and Mark Harris. Grandchildren; Chelsea, Harold "PJ," Daniel, Lauren, Katie, Rylee, Mason, and Benjamin. He will fondly be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will also be deeply missed by his furry copilot of 16 years, Jack. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sheri Lynch.

Harold served in the US Army and worked as a professional truck driver for over 46 years, driving for both Carolina Trucking and the Centimark/Questmark Corporation.

Harold will forever be in our hearts and prayers as he continues to watch over us. His sense of humor and dedication to his family and friends was unsurpassed and will be missed by all.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 131 N. Canton Road Akron, Ohio from 2 pm until the time of service at 4 pm.
