Harold L. Lake

Harold L. Lake, known to many as Butch, passed away peacefully at his home on April 15, 2022. Harold was one of four children born to now-deceased Arden and Edith Lake, including brothers Arden Jr. and Henry, and sister Elizabeth.
Butch will be dearly missed by daughters, Ami and Lori and their respective partners, Jon DiCicco and James Marunich, and by longtime companion Mary Romano.
A resident of Akron since his birth in 1944, Harold was preceded in death by sister Elizabeth Galanis (nee Lake), brother Arden Jr., and former wife Karen Lake.
As a young man, Harold served in the Ohio National Guard. A skilled worker who was good with his hands, he would go on to work many jobs in the construction industry.
Per Harold's wishes, his remains have been cremated. A private service will be held for his family. To leave a message for Harold's family, please scroll below.
