Harold Eugene Shreffler
Harold Eugene Shreffler, born October 16, 1925, passed away on June 18, 2006 after a battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his wife Doris Marie (McLaughlin) Shreffler. He leaves behind his son Brian Adrian Shreffler and wife Robin; daughters Pamela Denise Shreffler, Deborah Leah (Shreffler) Gurschke and husband Steve; and Kimberly Marie Shreffler. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Steven Main, Nicholas Shreffler, Lindsay Shreffler, Thomas Main; and one great-grandchild. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Residents Chapel Hill Community and Kroft Commons Nursing Home, 12200 Strausser St. N.W., Canal Fulton, OH 44614, Rev. Sandra Hutchinson officiating.
