Harold Wayne Wright, age 74 of Akron passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born on August 8, 1946, the son of the late Willard and Kathryn {Carpenter} Wright.
Harold will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Rory; children Harold, Jr., Tracy (Troy) Zimmer; grandchildren Brittany and Ty; great-grandchildren Ava and Brooke; many relatives and Masonic friends.
Harold served 13 years in the U.S.National Guard. He dedicated 37 years of service to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, retiring in 2003. Harold enjoyed camping and fishing with his family in his free time, as well as traveling. Harold was a member of several Masonic organizations, including Victory Lodge No. 649, The Akron Commandery No. 25 Knight's Templar, and The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio. He was also a collector, and one of his most prized collections were his Hot Wheels cars.
