It is with great sadness that we say good bye to our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who left this earthly world on December 9, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cindy (Bill) Rosato, Harry (Molly) Dodson, and Doug (Staci) Dodson; grandchildren, Miranda, Savanna, Starlla, Andrew (his best buddy), Tiyler, Levi, Kacie, Terry, and Nahlon; great-grandchildren, Airyonna, Aliviah, Alexa, and Seth; ex-wife and good friend, Jean; brothers, Bob (Joyce) Dodson, Dick (Mary Jane) Dodson, and Ed (Thelma) Dodson; sister-in-law, Janet Dodson; brothers-in-law, Walt (Pauline) Westfall and Kenny Westfall; special mother-in-law, Lorena Westfall; special niece, Jan Dodson; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mae Dodson; brother, Tom Dodson; sister-in-law, Rita Dodson; and special nephew, Tommy Dodson. Dad/Grandpa we will love you forever, and will greatly miss you. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 13, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Wednesday, December 14, at 11 am with Pastor Chuck Rhinehart officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. "Grandpa, never would I have expected to so suddenly be facing this day. I have so much love for you, but I feel there are many things I've neglected to say. You have always been a loving and wonderful person and have been there for me since day 1, your love was unconditional and have made it clear to us all in every possible way. Anytime I needed you, you were there without a moment delay. With your passing, a huge piece of my heart and soul have been torn away. I have so many good memories of you because you've always been there for everything. You were such a good man with a very loving and caring nature, but most would say that your unique sense of humor was definitely your forte. Knowing you're gone is so hard for us all, but you will always be loved and remembered with a devotion that will never, fade, dim or dull.
