Heather Louise (Snyder) Nees, 31, of Akron, passed away August 1, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. She was born February 1, 1976 in Akron, Ohio. Heather attended CVCA and finished 2nd in the state with FLBA. She also lettered in academics. Heather was an avid reader; was active in her youth group; was a puppeteer with Kids on the Block; and was active in the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her husband of 7 1/2 years, Michael R. Nees; parents, Lance P. & Irene D. Snyder; father-in-law, Richard (Sandy) Nees; mother-in-law, Susan (Virgil) Mick; maternal grandparents, Frances (Keith) Lewis; paternal grandfather, PaPa Frank; aunt, Ann (Russ) Hagemaster-Ferrell; great aunts, Mary Tahir and Peggy Glasgow; special friends, Brian & Carrie Thomas; brother-in-law, Jason (Sarah) Nees; nephew, Jacob Nees; her husband's grandparents, Harry & Pearl Nees; her husband's uncle, Fritz Nees and his family; numerous cousins. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jason Darrah officiating.
