Helen Jean Anderson

Helen Jean Anderson, age 90 of Akron passed away peacefully in the early morning of Monday, August 1, 2022. She was born in Nashville, TN on July 6, 1932 to the late John H. and Elizabeth {Cook} Snell.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and their children Nancy Anderson, John Anderson and Tim Anderson.

Helen and Kenneth's love story was one for the ages. She rarely met a person that didn't end up becoming a friend, and opened their home to anyone in need of a warm meal and a listening ear. Her family fondly remembers their trips to the beach.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, August 5 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow.
