Helen Craver (nee Hart) was born January 26, 1924 in Akron, the daughter of the late Wesley and Beulah (nee Griffin) Hart.
She lived in Akron, Green, Cuyahoga Falls and Hartville. She worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a dispatcher and then as a drivers examiner, she retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol in 1990. After retiring she spent most of her time babysitting her great grandkids and taking care of her pets.
Family was very important to her. She eventually left Cuyahoga Falls and moved to Hartville. She spent her time with her grandkids, great grandkids and daughter in law in Hartville, Salem and New York.
She was preceded in death by her, Parents; Husband Leonard Craver; Sons Kenneth (Jeanne) and Ronald Craver; Grandson Steven Craver; and Siblings
Wesley (Nadine) Marion, Allan and Arthur James (Carolyn) Hart.
Helen is survived by her, Grandchildren Michelle (Dale) Schrader of Salem, Christine (Dan) Cannon of New York, Bradley Craver of California and Catharine (Thom) Clark of Hartville; Great Grandchildren Clay Cannon of New York, Andrew (Kate) Vaughan of Kent, Halle (Nick) Walls of Texas, Tommy Clark and Logan Clark of Hartville; Sister in Law Bonnie Hart of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Darlene Phillips who helped her to remain independent for so long at home. To everyone who helped by visiting, sending cards and goodies and to the staff at Altercare Hartville and Absolute Hospice.
A private celebration has taken place.
