Helen M. Dalaski, 86, passed away on November 18, 2007. Helen had been a resident of Akron for most of her life until moving to Michigan in May. She worked for Summit County for 10 years. Helen enjoyed crafting with her children and grandchildren and was a long-time member of the Republican Club. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and generous individual who always put others before herself. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard and brothers Morris and Bud Shreve. Survivors include her daughter Patricia Mitchell; sisters Claudia Brinkley and Bonnie (David) Wyatt; granddaughter Annemarie (Henry) Loria; great-grandchildren Bambi (Sean) McCluskey and Mia and Molly Loria; great-great-grandchildren Alexandra and Rowan McCluskey; special friend Don Laconi; and numerous dear relatives and friends. Calling hours will be TODAY, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Scott Campbell officiating.
