Helen Gelhausen (Arnold)

Helen Gelhausen (Arnold), 84, passed away on March 20, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Akron and a graduate of South High School. She was a member of the G.B.Y.A. and United Fellowship Club. Helen was an avid needleworker; she loved crocheting blankets for all of her loved ones. Preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Arnold; grandson, Shane Christian Arnold. Survivors include her husband, Harold "Bud", of 19 ½ years; sons, William and James; grandchildren, Lisa Barbour, Michelle (Michael) Goff, Christy (Justin) Freudeman, Lori Turner, Shawna (Brian) Helems; 19 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-4 p.m. Private interment.
