Helen L. Keys



Helen L. Keys, 85, passed away on June 30, 2007. She was born on May 17, 1922 in Moundsville, WV to the late Marshall and Ellen Edge. She was a member of Springfield Assembly of God and Airport VFW Post 8975, Ladie's Auxiliary. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and a friend to all. She never had an unkind word about anyone and was a good listener who never judged. Helen enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband William of 58 years; youngest son Donald; brother Raymond; and sisters Imogene and Jacqueline. Survivors include sons William, Jr. (Joyce) and Thomas (Tracy); daughter Twila "Peg" (Gary) Hull; brothers Phillip (Leah) Edge and Jerry (Rose) Edge; grandchildren Marie (Kenny), Tom (Pam), William, III (Jen), Michael (Betty Jo), Heather (Rick), April, Laura, Shawn (Jessie), and Drew; great-grandchildren Amanda (Darren), Kenny, Jr. "Bro", Justin, Destiny, Wyatt, Taylor, Alex, Devon, Dylan, Hattie, and Gage; special great-great-grandson Zander; great-great-granddaughters Brandy and Breanna; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Wilma and the staff of Pleasantview Nursing Home for their love and care.
