Helen Ledford King
Helen Ledford King, 82, passed away on August 18, 2011. She was born in Stewart, KY in 1928. Helen was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served the Lord in many ways, her favorite being teaching the Adult Sunday School class. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; sons, Larry and Danny.
She was loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughters, Lynn (Richard) Freadling, Patti King; granddaughter, Tammy (Ken) Bradford, who was raised as a daughter.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 22 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where the funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery, Hartville.
Memorials can be made to the Deacon's Fund at Calvary Baptist Church, 820 White Pond Dr., Akron, OH 44320.
