Helen D. Munger (Mundy) (Congrove)
Helen D. Munger, 88, born March 3, 1919, passed away December 1, 2007. Helen attended St. Vincent High School and graduated from St. Mary High School. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. She was a longtime member of St. Matthew Parish. Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Congrove; second husband, Harry Munger; brothers, George Mundy, Bill Mundy, John Mundy, and Jim Mundy; and sisters, Mary Morgan, Jane Perneau, and Peggy Whitehurst. She will be deeply missed by her sons, John (Shelley) Congrove of Gibsonia, PA, Bill (Becky) Congrove of Akron, and Dan Congrove (Mary Martin) of Akron; sister, Adelaide Sovinsky of Akron; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Francesca Residence, 39 N. Portage Path, Akron. If desired, memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to the Francesca Residence.
