Helen Mae Olsen, 60, of Barberton, passed away at home surrounded by her family on June 14, 2023. She was born in San Diego, California on November 16, 1962 to the late Thomas and Eva Mealey.
Helen will always be remembered as a strong woman with a big personality. She was the center of her family and would do anything for anyone in need. She was generous, loving and straightforward. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Mealey; daughter, Diana Lynn Mealey; and granddaughter, Alexis Olsen.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Walter "Chuck" Olsen; children, Kimberly Olsen (Danny Westfall), Daniel Olsen, Steven Olsen (Amanda Hayton), and Raymond "Batman" (Kay) Olsen; grandchildren, Jay Jay and Hunter Crebs, Lily and Carter Myers, Faith and Anastasia Olsen, Ray J., Jaxin, and Lee Lee Olsen; brothers, Raymond Mealey, Thomas "Tommy" Mealey, and Robert "Bob" Mealey Sr.
Helen also leaves her beloved dogs, Ace and Zeus, whom she loved taking out on daily walks.
Per Helen's request, there will be no formal services. Her life will be celebrated at a future date at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio. Please check again for more details.
