Helen Jean Powell, 74, of Akron, passed away March 21, 2005 after a long illness. Helen was preceded in death by her companion, James E. Morgan. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Patty Fisher of Charleston, WV; son, Jimmy Powell of Akron; sisters, Ruby Kanecke and Ruth Kovac, both of Akron; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be held at the Ivy chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday from 2-3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. Please send all floral tributes to Greenlawn Memorial Park.
