Helen L. Robison

Helen L. Robison, 77, of Akron, died on July 8, 2005. She was born on May 15, 1928 in Akron, to the late James and Maggie (Ellis) Silcox. Helen was a member of the Mogadore Moose Lodge. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Robison, brothers James and Joe, sister Evelyn and special sister Edna. Helen is survived by daughters Paulette Franzmann, Pamela Dile, Frances (Alan) Richards and Cindy (Jim) Bateman, step-daughter Kathy (Richard) Estep, son Charles (Linda) Grant, step-sons Danny (Patty) Robison and Jerry Robison, sisters Frances (James) Pittman and Betty Furman, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family wants to send a special thanks to Akron General Hospital and Summit Villa for their excellent care and kindness. Calling hours will be on Monday, July 11, 2005 from 5-8:30 PM at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where services will begin at 8:30, with Rev. Nelson Pamer. Interment will follow on Tuesday at the Freeman Cemetery in West Union, WV. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 4767 Higbee Ave. N.W., Canton, OH 44718-2551.
