Helen S. Speelman (Quattrocchi), 82, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013. She was born August 3, 1931 in Akron to the late John and Helen Quattrocchi. Helen is the strongest and most caring mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. She helped shape the Speelman family into what they are and always will be.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, devoted husband Virgil L. Speelman, Sr. and brother Bob Quattrocchi. She is survived by her 4 sons; Virgil (Christine) of Phoenix, AZ, John (Michelle) of Woodsfield, OH, Steve (Rebecca) of Akron, OH and Richard (Carol) of Akron, OH, sisters Nancy Cheatham and Thelma (Ed) Dodson, brother John Quattrocchi, grandchildren; John-Michael (Erica), David, Lindsay, Steven, Anthony, Aaron, Kathleen and Adam, great-granddaughter Mckenna, goddaughter Debbie Peters, many more nieces and nephews.
Private services will be observed by the family at a later date.
