Helen H. Sipka, 100, passed away January 17, 2007. Helen was born December 17, 1906 to the late Albert and Mary Huchko. She spent 65 years of her life as an Akron resident, most recently at the Gardens of Western Reserve. Helen was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. She proudly achieved her goal of reaching 100 years of age on December 17, 2006. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley J. Sipka; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and 3 great-grandchildren. Survivors include her son Stanley (Joanne) Sipka; daughters Rita (Bob) Klingensmith, Betty (Dick) Kemp, Arlene (Don) Hayden, and Helene (Tom) Csvany; sister Caroline Tuminello; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls.
