Helen B. Stollings, age 87, of Stow, Ohio, died on December 21, 2019 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born on October 6, 1932 in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Holly and Ruby (nee Morrison) Ward.
Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Vickie (William) Sherlock, James Gregory (Kim) Stollings and Terri (Michael) Leymon; her grandchildren, Justin (Kristen) Sherlock, Kristin Sherlock, Melissa (Rick) Annen, Colleen Stollings, Rodney (Anna) Stollings, Kelli (Sean) Roth, Angie Leymon and Michael (Dawn) Leymon; and her great-grandchildren, Trenton, Gavin, Josh, Aiden, Sophie, Sean, Makayla and Cooper.
Other than her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, James Stollings, on January 10, 1992; her brothers, Raymond, Benny and Joe.
There will be private family graveside services at Hillside Memorial Park Chapel, Akron, Ohio.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
