Helga M. Andrews, 69, of Mogadore, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born May 17, 1941 in East Germany but spent most of her life in Ohio. Helga was preceded in death by her infant son, John R. Xanten. She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Andrews; daughters, Kathy (Dave) Poland of Maryland and Karen (Roger) Gorham of Akron; 4 grandchildren, Nikki, Ashley, Ryan and Matthew; brother, Gunther (Girdie) Schulze and nephews, Yurgen and Michael, from Germany. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to VNS Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH 44333.
