Helga E. Sullivan
October 21, 1947 — May 18, 2020
Helga E. Sullivan, 72, passed away May 18, 2020 after a battle with lung cancer. Born in Passau, Germany to Ambros and Gisela (Seitz) Ollinger, she resided in Cape Cod, Massachusetts as well as Akron, Ohio. Helga was known for being a hard worker who was passionate about gardening, wildlife and reading. Despite recent health struggles, she persevered and lived long enough to see her twin grandsons, who were born happy and healthy.
Helga is now reunited with her husband, Paul; sister, Hilde; brother, John. She will be sadly missed by son, Christopher (Jessica) Sullivan; grandsons, Jonathan, William; sister, Elizabeth Ollinger; brother, Adam Ollinger; lifelong friend, Connie Weaver; nieces, nephews and other friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their loving care of Helga.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Helga's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
