Henrietta G. Stanovich

Henrietta G. Stanovich, 87, very peacefully went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2007. She was born June 17, 1920 in Cottonwood, Arizona to the late Carlos & Flora Gallegos. She was a beloved mother and devoted wife of 42 years. Henrietta lived by the motto to place God first, then family and friends. She was a real estate agent for the JJ Guida Realty Co. for 30 years and was named Associate of the Year in 1985. She was a member of Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral where she loved the church, its pastors, and the people there. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Stanovich, Sr.; brother, Carlos Gallegos, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Paul Kuhn. She is survived by her daughter, Leah Stanovich of Akron OH; son, Rudy Jr. (Laura) of Denver CO; and sister, Adeline Kuhn, her son, Fred, daughter, Paula and their families. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio. Graveside services will be conducted 12 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Cemetery in Weirton, West Virginia.
