Henry Bittner Jr.

Henry Bittner Jr. (Hank) 85, of Cuyahoga Falls succumbed to Parkinson's Disease on Friday, July 29, 2016. Henry was born on June 10, 1931 in Sandpatch, Pennsylvania to Phillip and Mary Bittner. He served his country in the U.S Air Force and Reserve also the VFW past Post Commander and life member of #3294 and American Legion, Bealsville ,OH , Cuyahoga Falls Moose, life member 20 Buckhorn Club Sports Club, 6 Up 6 Down Fishing Club. Henry was an avid hunter, fisherman, softball, bowling, golfing, Gardner, He excelled in every activity he did and enjoyed them all. Henry was always available to lend a helping hand.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son , Phillip; brother, Paul ( Pee Bee).

Hank is survived by loving wife, Suzan ; son, Daryl ; siblings, Jim, Barbara, Carl ( Nancy ), Larry (Nola) ; sister -in- law, Betty; grandchildren; Buddy, Ashley and a host of family and friends who will miss Henry dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11a.m., Wintergreen Ledges Church of God ,1889 Vernon Odom Blvd. Akron, OH 44320. Internment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. promptly. For those who wish to follow the family they will leave from the church at 10.00 a.m..

Henry's Family would like Thank Harbor Light Hospice and Wyant Wood for all the care , compassion and support they gave.
