Henry Domaratz

Henry "Pop" Domaratz went to his eternal reward on April 3, 2023 at the age of 91. He was born on January 7, 1932 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Frank and Sophia Domaratz. Henry retired from IBM as a Field Engineer where he spent 47 faithful years. He was married to the love of his life on June 15, 1957 in Tarentum, PA. Previously, Henry was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic and most currently was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Cuyahoga Falls. Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved to garden and work with wood in his free time but nothing came before his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will fondly remember him as "Pop." He was always there when needed and it meant the world to his family.

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by siblings, Fred and Anthony Domaratz.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 65 years, Geraldine "Nina" Domaratz; children, Teresa Copen, Kathy, Frank and Anthony (Renee) Domaratz; grandchildren, Zach (Stacey), Tyler (Shelby) and Natasha Copen and Brandon and Madeline Domaratz; and great-grandchildren, Koen, Remy and Myla Copen.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Parish (1761 2nd Street, Cuyahoga Falls) on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. Burial with full military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
