Henry Schleicher, Jr., 82, life-long resident of Akron, passed away April 3, 2006. He was born December 20, 1923 and later served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from the Ford Motor Company. In his free time, he enjoyed horse races. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lucille Schleicher; daughters, Linda (Terry) Baker and Rita (Miles) Milliken; sons, Ed Bower and John (Dorothy) Bower; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
