Henry Shorb

Henry W. Shorb, 94, passed away on July 30, 2005. He was a member of Springfield Church of the Bretheren and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Valdia; sons Brian of Fairfax, VA and Royal (Sandra) of Chino Valley, AZ; daughters Bernita of Akron and Evanola Davis of Mogadore; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Springfield Church of the Bretheren, Pastor Kris Hawk officiating. Interment at Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springfield Church of the Bretheren.
