Herbert C. Poole, 73, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 15, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 14, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Albert & Agnes (Pearn) Poole. Herbert was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having proudly served in the U.S. Army/Air Force. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Poole. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marsha L. (Kiel) Poole of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Susan (Brian) Strain of Akron; Rebecca (Gary) Strain of Mogadore; sons, Jeffrey Poole of Akron and Steven (Kim) Poole of Mogadore; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Patrick Poole of Sycamore OH and Russell (Hilda) Poole of Tiffin OH; sister-in-law, Eileen Poole; special friend, Gloria A. Poole. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Requiem Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel, 450 Dennison Ave. (corner of Albrecht Ave.). Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
