Herbert Lee-Bey
February 17, 1946 — June 8, 2020
Herbert Lee-Bey, 74, transitioned to his eternal home on June 8, 2020. Born in Louisiana to Leo and Elizabeth (Turner) Lee, he was a lifelong Akron, Ohio resident. He was a graduate of Hower High School and was a retired Independent Long Distance Truck Driver and also worked as a chauffeur. Herb enjoyed fishing, boating, basketball, football, traveling, eating good food and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Georgia Watson; brothers, Claude Lee, Stanley Lee; sister, Jean Miller. He is survived by his friend and former wife, Debora Buchanan; sister, Debbie Lee; sons, Marcus (Tynita) Lee, Deshawn (Elizabeth) Ducksworth; daughters, Chante (Paul) Tibby, Asia Lee-Bey, Dorlisa Finney; plus a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be no formal services. The family will have a private gathering.
