Hezekiah Edwards, Sr.

Hezekiah Edwards was born to the late Senior Mother Maude Louis Edwards and Senior Deacon Samuel Edwards Sr. He went home unexpectedly to be with the Lord on April 11, 2020. Hezekiah attended Howe School, Thornton Jr. High and then graduating from Central Hower in 1974. He was last employed with Sylvite Trucking Co. Hezekiah enjoyed fishing, traveling with his wife Linda, cooking and spending fun times with family and friends. He loved to brag about his cooking and ride his motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Senior Mother Maude Louis and Senior Deacon Samuel Edwards Sr.; brother, Samuel and Elam Edwards; and sister, Mariam Williamson. Hezekiah is survived by wife, Linda Patterson Edwards; brothers, Jonathan (Eunice) of Tampa, Florida, James Elias Edwards of Akron, Ohio; sister, Lillian Barnett of Chicago, Illinois; children - sons, Antwan, Darius Hezekiah Jr., and Nathan; daughters, Chaka Tarsha, Kasey, Lynise (Steve), Daisha; and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandkids, family and friends.
