Homer M. Copen, 67, formerly of Elkridge, West Virginia passed away peacefully at home, April 6, 2005, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ocie; father, Joshua; brother, William; sister, Anna. He is survived by his children, Pam, Ronnie, Dave, Scott and Tina; sisters, Betty Smith, Jackie (Herb) Wilson, Ethel (Nate) Harvey of Akron, Dora (Bob) Lowe, Mary (Harry) Neal of WV; brother, John Copen of PA; many nieces, nephews and a ton of friends. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be held 11:45 a.m.. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Ann Chaffman officiating.
