Hoy L. Forshey
Hoy L. Forshey, 80, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2008. He was born May 18, 1928 in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1948. Hoy was employed by Parker Hannifin as an emergency expeditor and retired after 42 years of outstanding service. Hoy was married for 56 years to the love of his life, Edna (Wilkinson) Forshey. He was a hero to all of his children, Joyce Baird (Kevin Giles) of Akron, Debbie Triosa (Johanes Triosa) of Stow, Chris M. Forshey (Denise Patterson-Forshey) of Waldorf, MD, and Robin Forshey-Kallay of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Daniel (Truly) Baird, Angel (Andrew) Henkel, and Maria (John) O'Neil; great-grandchildren, Shaiann and Nikkolai Baird. He also leaves behind his canine companions, Chardonnay and Anna. Calling hours for family and friends will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Pastor Matthew Wooster officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
