Hugh W. Bentley, 82, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at his home on July 25, 2023. He was born in Selma, AL on February 18, 1941 to the late Donald and Annie {Wheeler} Bentley.
In addition to his parents, Hugh was preceded in death by his wife, Judy in 2015, his son Thomas Allen Dale, grandsons T.J. and Ronnie, and siblings Jean Recob, Joan Hammer and an infant brother.
Hugh is survived by his loving children Leona Bentley, Kimberly Bentley, Hugh W. D. (Lori) Bentley Sr., Tracy (Lynn) Bentley, Susan (Terry) Hunt, James "Rodger" (Kim) Bentley and Joni (Donny) Jolley; 34 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Hugh's life will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd. Akron, OH 44320 on Saturday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. Following the celebration, Hugh will be laid to rest. To share a memory of Hugh or leave a special message for his family, please visit the guestbook below.
