Ida J. Kittinger, 73, of Lakemore, died on March 22, 2006 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1933 in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Floyd & Ura (Peck) Shriver. Ida was a member of the Cauldron Masonic Order and the Oasis Club. She enjoyed traveling and dancing, was a greatly devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and had a unique gift of giving unconditional love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Hoffman and brothers, Leo and Wayne Shriver. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ralph D. Kittinger of Lakemore; sons Greg (Sandi) of Uniontown, Tim and his fiancé, Kim Morton of Hartville; granddaughter, Sarah; sister, Rosemary Miller of Phoenix AZ; brother, Floyd Shriver of Madison WI; special friends, Heidi Kittinger and Lillian Mae Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3 - 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at Millheim United Church of Christ, 2260 Myersville Rd. beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sharon Baumman officiating.
