Ida Mae Peticca
Ida Mae Peticca, 79, of Akron, passed away June 3, 2007 at Magnolia Village Retirement Community in Wadsworth. She was born February 7, 1928 in West Jefferson, Ohio to the late Guy & Minnie Stump. Ida was a beloved mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Guy Stump, Jr.; and sister, Esta. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Alan) Demali; son, Michael (Laura) Peticca; grandchildren, Jenna (Brian) Griffin, Julie, Joseph and Matthew Peticca; sisters, Francina and Violetta; brother, George. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Ste. 105, Danvers MA 01923.
