Imogene Crafton

Imogene Crafton, 83 passed away January 25, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Tennessee, she resided in the Akron area most of her adult life. She belonged to the Daytona Beach Christian Church during the 16 years she and her husband lived in Florida. Imogene was very outgoing and she loved walking on the beach and enjoyed baking, attending church, watching wrestling, shopping and spending time with her beloved family.

Preceded in death by her mom, Olivia Cox, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 66 years, Joe; daughter, Kathy; grandsons, Harlan (Jackie), Chad (Shawna); great grandchildren, Leeanna, Lyndsay, Evan, Dakota, Aven, Lilly, Leelan, Leonidas; great great granddaughter, Cora.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
