Ina Claire Blatt, age 78 of North Canton, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on May 22, 1943 in Creston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ralph and Etta May (nee Boise) Connolly.
Ina was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Suffield, Ohio. In her spare time she sold Avon and was the Avon lady of Fairlane Estates. She enjoyed reading books, playing cards, putting together jigsaw puzzles and going for walks. The grandchildren loved to come to her house for Grandma Bread and her homemade spaghetti sauce.
Ina spent many years volunteering at St. Thomas Hospital working with others who struggle with addiction.
Survivors include her only daughter, Lyssa (Jeffrey) Darrah of Hartville; her grandchildren, Justin (Abbey Lucas) Frye, Melissa (Zach) Stauffer and Taylor (Billy Galloway) Darrah; and one great-granddaughter, Annabelle Claire Stauffer.
Ina's sister also survives, Kate (Michael) Chapin of McConnelsville, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Ina was preceded in death by her husband, James Blatt on April 20, 2021, they were united in marriage on July 10, 1964; and her siblings, Inez Mullins, Vada Kovaleski, Irma Connolly, Carolyn Rogers, Frank, Neil and Dan Connolly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Canton Grace Brethren Church, 6283 Market Avenue North, North Canton, Ohio at 1:00 PM, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
