Ina Rae Surgen, 71, of Akron, passed away February 17, 2010. She was born in Akron on February 14, 1939. Ina was the current president of her TOPS chapter. She loved bowling, golfing, and the Cleveland Cavs. She will always be remembered as a loving and generous person. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Dolores Light. Ina will be deeply missed by her husband, Jack; daughters, Gena (Karl) Maier and Richelle Edick and husband, John; sister, Shirley (Chuck) Rouer; brother, Raymond (Mary) Light; grandchildren, Kirstin and Matthew Edick. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-2 followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
