Ingeborg (Dietz) Cooper
Ingeborg Cooper, 78, went home to the Lord on October 3, 2010. Ingeborg was born in Tuklehausen, Germany on July 30, 1932 to Anna and Henry Dietz. She came to the United States after marrying her husband, U.S. Army Sgt. Arden Cooper in Akron in 1967. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting items which she donated to Childrens Hospital and different nursing homes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arden and daughter, Theresia. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Carr of Uniontown; son, Kenneth (Karen) Cooper of Akron; grandchildren, Victoria (Kenneth) Rose of Akron, Kristy (Chris) Knowles of Uniontown, Jason Carr of Akron, Kayla Canterbury of Tallmadge, and Shelby Canterbury of Uniontown; great-grandsons, Michael and Bradley Knowles of Uniontown; sister, Friedlind (Karl) Zitzmann of Germany; brother, Edgar (Maria) Dietz of Germany; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
