Ingeburg "Inge" Peterson
Ingeburg "Inge" Peterson, 74, of Springfield Twp., passed away May 7, 2006 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1932 in Hanau, Germany to the late George & Magdalena (Heindle) Marburger. Inge was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all and never missed a sporting event. She served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, was an avid bowler, a member of the Walker Club at Chapel Hill Mall, and was known by many for her cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward L. Peterson with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage on April 9th; sons, George, Clifford (Carla), and Timothy J.; grandchildren, David, Cristin (Matthew), Ryan (Rachel), Alicia, Harold, and Kathleen; great-granddaughter, Kylie; sister, Heidi (Jack) Mangus; brother, Gearhard Marburger. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 12 - 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. with Rev.
