Ira (Bud) Lytle, 85, of Uniontown passed away on June 9, 2013 due to an accident. He was born in Smith Mills, PA on October 27, 1927 to the late Lawrence and Susan (Gillian) Lytle.
Bud graduated from Madrea High School. He pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates for two year. He joined the Navy, and then proceeded to work for Goodyear Tire & Rubber for 36 years and Northland Construction.
His love of cars was his passion and loved having breakfast every Tuesday with Russ, Paul and Jake.
Bud was preceded in death by his son, Gary; son-in-law, James McVan; 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Ira is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dona; children, Pat McVan, David (Rhonda) Lytle, Debra (Scott) Bernhardt, Diane (Mike) Burton, Tarianne (Vic) Cunningham; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; his special dog Teddy.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, OH on Tuesday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m.
