Lois Irene Blythe (nee Prather), 86, of Akron, passed away February 12, 2013. She was born in Radford, VA on May 10, 1926 to the late Bob and Gladys Prather. Irene was a 1945 graduate of East High School and a retiree from Tallmadge Kmart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; daughter, Loreen; brothers, Edwin and Larry Prather.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Karen (Dave) Palmer and Bonnirae (Allan) Biats; step-son, Gary (Linda) Blythe; granddaughters, Melissa, Rachel, Deana, Adrienne, Heather, Carie, Kristi; grandson, Kevin; 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
