Irene Bolyard Smith

Irene Bolyard Smith, 68, of Massillon, passed away suddenly at her residence on December 31, 2001 after a short illness. Irene was born on January 7, 1933 in Rowlesburg, WV to the late Darrel and Cecil Knotts. She lived in the Akron area for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Bolyard; son, Randy A. Bolyard; brothers, Bernard, Darrel, Percy, and Kenneth; and two sisters. She is survived by daughter, Donna L. Parker (Bob Ledbetter); son, Roy "Rob" Bolyard (April); grandchildren, Jordyn Elizabeth, Dawn Janett, (Scott) Pence, Deanna Lynn (Bill) Flood, Michael, Richard, and Ralph; great-grandchildren, Billy and Madison; sisters, Kathleen Yurek, Bertie (Gene) Alexander, Mary (Don) Wilmoth, Nancy (Fred) Leeson, and Jeannie (Dick) Goff; special friends, Mary Funk and Madene Bolyard; many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 3rd from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Inurnment will take place at Bolyard Family Cemetery in Newburg, WV.
