Irene M. Carson, 78, of Tallmadge, passed away September 9, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born July 28, 1929 in Mogadore OH. Irene was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Newport and grandson, Sgt. Justin T. Walsh USMC. She is left behind by her beloved husband of 59 years, Raymond Carson; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Carson and Ronald & Deanna Carson; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy & Richard Davis, Chris & Doug Custer, Terri Walsh; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:30 - 9 p.m. and Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday with Pastor Sherman Bailey officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
