Irene M. Nolan
Irene M. Nolan, 57, of Akron, passed away February 5, 2008 at Akron City Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 2, 1951 in Arcadia PA to the late Charles L. & Mary E. (Good) Bathurst. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Bathurst, Jr.; and step-father, Charles Price. Irene is survived by her husband, John Nolan, Jr. of Akron; daughters, Meredith Duncan and Michelle Nolan both of Akron; sons, Michael Lloyd and John Nolan III both of Akron; grandchildren, Amanda, Terra, Vincent, Katthlene, Bryan, Hailey, Cavynna, Miraha, Mike, Emilia, Angel, John IV, Jacob and Kaylie; sisters, Barbara, Debbie, Becky, Chris and Susie; uncles, Jesse T. Good, Hobart Rose and Richard Bathurst; numerous cousins. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 9 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Grace Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1236 Eastwood Ave., Akron followed by a reception at the family home. Information may be obtained by calling 330-524-4278. The family would like to thank Rev. Bernard Christy from Harmony Baptist Church for his kindness during Irene's illness.
