Irene V. Ross, 90, of Lakemore, passed away November 14, 2010. Irene was born April 14, 1920 in Belington, West Virginia to the late Bradford and Odie Robinson. She retired from Firestone after over 30 years of service and was a longtime member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Above all, Irene loved to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd A. Reedy, Sr.; second husband, Charles Ross; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Toot Reedy; and sisters, Margaret Simmons and Lucille Beane. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Joseph (Linda) Reedy and Arthur (Cindy) Reedy; brothers, George (Ermie), Clyde (Lucille), Lee Jay (Mary Ann), and Bradford Jr. (Jo) Robinson; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Irene's family wishes to thank Sandy, Pebble Creek, Greenview Inn, Pleasant View, and Hospice of VNS for all their loving care. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
