Irvin P. Mishler
Irvin P. Mishler, 90, of Akron, passed away May 28, 2007. Irvin was born on July 1, 1916 in Berlin, PA. He moved to Akron in 1953 and began working for Ford Motor Co. in 1954. He retired in 1981 after 27 years of service. Irvin was a member of East Market Street Church of God. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking with his grandson, Jason. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be missed by all who knew him. Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida; twin sister, Nettie Hoenshel; sisters, Hilda Schrock and Edna Brown; and brothers, John, Sam, Harry, Homer, and Bill Mishler. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 68 years, Mildred; son, Blaine (Mabel) Mishler of Fairfax, VA; daughter, Elaine (Larry) Hembury of Akron; sister, Pauline Ohler and brother, Paul (Mary) Mishler, both of Myersdale, PA; grandchildren, Sonya (Ernie) Cole, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Williams, Jason (Tamara) Hembury, and Heather Mishler; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jacob Cole, Jordan and Justin Williams, Britany and Kaitlyn Campbell, and one great-grandchild on the way.
