Irvin Charles Smink

Irvin Charles Smink, age 66, loving husband and father, went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 6 1/2 years, Kimberly, his sons, Richard (Polly) of Tallmadge, and David (Heather) of Wadsworth, six grandchildren, step-children, Nicole (John) of California, John of Tallmadge, brother, Larry of Texas and many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his three girls, Gabriella, Leora, and Grace, his mother, Norma, father, Irvin, and brother Duane.
Irvin worked for the City of Akron as a contractor with his company, K.I.P. Construction for 30 years, where he made many friends. He resided in Tallmadge for 63 years and moved to Malvern where he enjoyed living at "The Camp" with his wife Kim, sitting in their rocking chairs, watching the humming birds, riding his Yamaha Rhino, and spending time with his sons. He also enjoyed spending time in Florida during the winter months. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Friends and family may come to call on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 11-1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will take place at Tallmadge Cemetery.
