Irvin Wyatt Johnson, Sr., 72, passed away with his family by his bedside on January 5, 2011. Irvin was born on October 26, 1938 to the late Ira and Mildred Johnson. Irvin was the owner/operator of Irv's Truck Service. He enjoyed boating and camping, but his family was his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ira Allen, Hobert, Elmer "Bug", Robert "Sam"; sisters, Ada, Maggie, Becky, Lou, Theressa. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dolores; daughter, Lisa (Mark) McElwain; sons, Ira Allen (Cynthia), Irvin, Jr. (Sabrina), and David, Sr. (Carrie); sisters, Lucy Kytle, of Florida, and Phyllis Nichols, of West Virginia; sisters-in-law, Aretta Johnson and Mary Johnson, both of West Virginia; brothers-in-law, Joe Brown and Clarence Anderson, both of West Virginia; grandchildren, Irvin Wyatt, III, Luke, David, Jr. "D.J." (Nicole), Marlana, Tiffany, Candace, Sierra, Savanna, Samantha and Kendall; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Wyatt Patrick, Gage and Malek; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday, 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
